so life on a budget might not be fun but it is rewarding! we have been living on a very slim budget for the last few months but as we pay off credit cards, one of which we got on our honeymoon!!! it is very exciting. praise the Lord for He provides for all our needs.

i mowed the grass today. i learned that lawnmowers can propel themselves or you can choose to push with your own strength. i learned that you are supposed to "double back" so as not to miss sections. and i learned that it is really really hard to start a lawnmower. thank goodness for my husband to start it every time i stalled out. our grass was a little long and i am a little not strong.

hug a tree today! or if you live in the desert hug a cactus! or if you live at the beach hug a sand dune? i dont know bear with me folks. i have been researching hybrid vehicles lately not that we are going to be getting a new car anytime soon, but some day i will get a new car and it will be a hybrid or an all electric vehicle. we had an earth day celebration in our county on saturday i had to miss it but melissa joy and megan went. so what can we do to make our earth a better place? recycle? but cool recycled goods - i bought some shirts as presents for babies in my life that were made of recycled cotton and printed with bio degradable ink. - Drink more water from reusable glassware. It's great for your bank account, your health, and your planet. The average American consumed more than 400 beverage bottles and cans in 2006, leaving behind wasted glass, plastic, steel, and aluminum. That adds up to excessive amounts of fossil fuels and hydropower for mining, processing, refining, ...

my friend megan has two beautiful children. oliva and evan....they are so fun. well atleast olivia is fun evan is only 3 weeks old so he is fun in a different way. i say all this because yesterday i got to hang out with them for part of the day and it was so much fun! olivia is just full of smiles and so happy!!

one more foster care class....we have a class on tuesday and then we are done with the classes. one more thing checked off the list. the next thing we have is a home inspection.

I can't believe it is april 1st!! we are going to classes for foster care twice a week and learning a lot. it is getting closer to a placement. i am really starting to get excited. please keep us in your prayers.
