In response to Who is Parsons Brown???

attacking someone on their web site isnt very nice. but just in case anonymous wants to know i did not know parson brown was a minister and i dont think i have ever heard that in a sermon..so i am not sure how being a devout church member has anything to do with this song. and i wasnt trying to ruin CHRISTMAS!! i never thought about the meaning until someone else brought it up and i always thought parson brown was just a color...and to tell you the truth i never thought anything sexual about the song and in re-reading my post there is not a mention of the "questionable" part of the song being about anything sexual...well everyone is entitled to their opinions. sorry if i offeneded anyone it was not meant to be offensive. merry christmas.

I'm sorry I insulted you, you can retract the claws now. I just meant that anyone who has a church background would know that ministers used to be called parsons. I'm sorry!

i asked jeeves, i googled, and i yahooed a little and i found something that said that it being an actual church "parson" is only 1% likely.

Anonymous do you seriously have nothing better to do than attack a young woman on her PERSONAL BLOG and not have the decency to let her know who you are? You see I am not a christian, and I think you are being VERY unchristian like! If you were a christian you maybe would have said it like this:
Melissa to answer your question: A minster was called a Parson back in the day and he is going to marry the two young couple. HMM would it have been so hard to put it in those words insted of the way you wrote it. I believe my way would be considered the christian way and yours ya the a**hole way!

Anna is a naughty "christian" talking in an unchristian way. IN fact I think the devil must have infiltrated you all, you are not acting very christian, anyone can "say" I forgive you but you mommy dearest and all your fellow "christians" don't mean a word of it.
